Allow List Instructions

The process for Allow Listing a domain varies depending on the email service or client you use (such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.). Below is a general guideline for a few common email platforms:

Gmail:

  • Open Gmail and click on the gear icon to access “Settings.”
  • Go to “Filters and Blocked Addresses” and click on “Create a new filter.”
  • In the “From” section, add the following three domains you want to whitelist preceded by an asterisk
    • *playtimechildcare.org
    • *katieskornerchildcare.com
    • *jollygiantchildcare.org
  • Click “Create filter” and then check “Never send it to Spam.”
  • Click “Create filter” again to save your settings.

Outlook:

  • Go to “Settings” > “View all Outlook settings.”
  • Choose “Mail” > “Junk email.”
  • Under “Safe senders and domains,” click “Add” and enter the domains
    • playtimechildcare.org
    • katieskornerchildcare.com
    • jollygiantchildcare.org
  • Save your changes.

Yahoo Mail:

  • Click the gear icon to access “Settings.”
  • Go to “More Settings” > “Filters.”
  • Create a new filter, naming it as you wish.
  • In the “Set Rules” section, select “contains” and enter the domains
    • playtimechildcare.org
    • katieskornerchildcare.com
    • jollygiantchildcare.org.
  • Choose “Inbox” as the folder to move the emails to.
  • Save the filter.
